Whirlpool grabs TV set. It seemed like a fun enough project. The TV was originally going to spin above the water, based on a visit to a DVD publisher's home page that had a spinning TV. Then it was bobbing around in the water while spinning. So what else would cause all that spinning but a whirlpool?

The whirlpool was a morph object made by magnetting a funnel in the ocean card. This was selected and jittered, with the jittered area then vortexed. This was done in greater degree to six morph targets. The water has 50% transparency, so the TV was still visible when its virtual depth was about ten feet down. In retrospect, it is sort of the project one would send to a DVD publisher.
